Meet our wonderful Client Care staff

  • Alexis Saunders

    Alexis is currently a student at Chattanooga State Community College. She is in the nursing program and hopes to continue her education to become a midwife and make a difference in the world someday. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching movies. Alexis has a dog named Rambo and is definitely a favorite companion.  

  • Anahlea Jaccarino

    Anahlea is originally from New York. She moved to Franklin, TN, in 2011, and then to Chattanooga in 2017 to
    attend college. A senior at UTC majoring in pre professional biology, she has hopes of going to veterinary school. Her interest includes focusing on exotics. When Anahlea is not in school or at work, she can be found hanging out with her boyfriend, Jorge, a cat named Addie, and a dog named Nova.  

  • Beth Pullen

    Beth graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. and M.Ed. in Special Education. Additionally, she graduated from Ga Southern with an Ed.S. in Teaching and Learning. During summer breaks and holidays, Beth works at the vet clinic assisting in various job roles. Beth has two dogs named Tater and Lucy, and she also has a cat named Aubie.

  • Christy Dicus

    After spending time in the flat parts of Ohio, Florida, and Indiana, Christy chose to move onto a mountaintop in this area in 2019. She holds certifications as both a nursing aide and medical assistant and enjoys helping others. As a life-long animal lover, she has cared for pets with special needs, so she understands the importance of a good veterinary team. Christy and her sons have recently adopted a senior Catahoula who is having fun exploring the greater Chattanooga area with them.

  • Kaitlin Johnson
    Referral Coordinator

    Kaitlin moved to Chattanooga and joined the staff of VCSG in 2019.  She has a dog named Joey, a Golden mix, and another dog named Enzo, a Pomeranian.  Kaitlin enjoys hiking with Joey and Enzo, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her family.  

  • Krystal Tomlinson

    Krystal was born in Soddy-Daisy. She grew up in this small town as adventurous and curious at heart enjoying
    hobbies and outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, camping, and swimming. At the well-known St. Elmo Deli & Grill, Krystal has been a professional “sandwich maker” since early 2018. She likes the creative aspects of life that challenge her to be creative and authentic. She hopes to channel this energy into helping our clients at VCSG.  

  • Sherry Smith

    Sherry grew up in Talking Rock, Georgia, and moved to Chattanooga in 2016. As she grew up in north Georgia,
    she always had dogs, horses, and farm animals. She continues to surround herself with lots of animals and enjoys loving them and helping them. Sherry has been involved in Fospice, a foster hospice program for unwanted elderly dogs. She is committed to helping these animals in need, in addition to their families.
